Incheon Art Platform Residency
Incheon, South Korea
Deadline: November 5, 2017
The Incheon Art Platform encourages international artists from diverse disciplines to come together and collaborate or exchange ideas. The program supports the artist by providing living and work space as well as airfare to and from South Korea.

Hunger Innovation Fellowship
Louisville, Kentucky
Deadline: November 6, 2017

The one-year, $100,000 fellowship is for an innovator or artist who sees food access through a different lens. By applying knowledge and best practices from other sectors, the foundation partners are looking for a candidate who can bring a fresh perspective to the challenge of food insecurity.

Vroman Fellowship
Maastricht, Netherlands
Deadline: November 7, 2017
In the spirt of polymath Leo Roman, this Dutch foundation is looking for artists, designers, writers, and other makers whose practice straddles art and science. The Fellows will spend a half year in the company of 35-40 other participants, and will be supported through monthly stipends of €900, a production budget of  €1,000, studio visits and public programming.

Can Serrat Residency
Barcelona, Spain
Deadline: November 10, 2017
This residency supplies visual artists with work and living space. One artist will be selected for a full grant and 49 will receive partial aid stipends. Open to artists of all ages and nationalities!

McColl Center for Art + Innovation
Charlotte, North Carolina
Deadline: November 15, 2017
The McColl Center’s residency is open to nine artists of any discipline and nationality. They offer more than 5,000 square feet of exhibition space, common-use spaces (including a studio for large-scale sculpture fabrication), $6,000 for living allowance, and more!

Creative Access Fellowship
Vermont, Oregon, New Mexico and Illinois
Deadline: November 15, 2017
The Craig H. Neilsen Foundation partners with the Vermont Studio Center to support visual artists and writers with spinal cord injury with residency fellowships. Twelve awardees will receive two to eight month residencies at one of the host sites, living space, a $1,000 stipend and travel support for a personal assistant or caregiver if necessary.

The 3 month Guttenberg Arts Residency provides space and time for artists to develop their project. Artists will have access to the facility’s presses, silkscreen supplies, and other work spaces.

The Makers Space Experience is looking for choreographers and dance makers who need space to develop their craft and products at any stage. The residency offers studio space, access to a black box theater, room and breakfast, and a network of likeminded artists to work with.

Lumbier, Spain

Innovative visual artists are invited to apply to this three-month residency based in a small village in Spain. Workspace and living space are provided to the artists for free!

HB Rehearsal Space Residency
New York, New York
Deadline: December 1, 2017
HB Studio is dedicated to training and practice for the theater. Their residency offers six two-month rehearsal residencies for the development of creative projects as well as presentation space. This is a perfect opportunity for theater and performing artists working on new plays!

Soulangh Artist Village
Tainan, Taiwan
Deadline: December 10, 2017
This residency allows international artists to work closely with Tainan’s local community of craftspeople and artisans. It comes with work and living space, and stipends for living expenses.

Sculpture Space Residency
Utica, New York
Deadline: January 1, 2018
This two-month residency offers studio space for three to five artists. Each resident will receive ongoing assistance from Sculpture Space’s staff, and the surrounding community is supportive and receptive to site specific work.

Good Hart, Michigan
Deadline: January 30, 2018
This residency in Good Hart, Michigan, offers 2-3 week residencies to dedicated visual artists and writers. The residency provides a live/work studio space, food, a $500.00 stipend, and a quiet setting to concentrate on creative work. The residency works in partnership with several local community organizations.

Foundation for Contemporary Arts Emergency Grant
Deadline: Reviewed on an ongoing basis monthly
Do you have an unanticipated opportunity to present your work? Did you incur an unexpected expense that you didn’t budget for? The Foundation for Contemporary Arts offers Emergency Grants between $200 and $2,500 for visual and performing artists. They review applications once a month, so you can quickly take advantage of momentum or solve any budget errors.
